Meet our team of passionate musicians dedicated to helping kids express themselves through music. With diverse backgrounds in performance, composition, and music education, we create a fun and supportive environment where children can develop confidence, creativity, and communication skills.

    Accreditations and Qualifications:

    • Music Production and Composition: Expert in jazz, harmony, and modern composition.

    • Album Releases: Four solo albums, including the internationally acclaimed Liberté (2002) and Lettre à Marianne(2011).

    • Live Performances: Featured at prestigious festivals, including WOMAD, Mar de Músicas, and Pirineos Sur.

    • Music Synchronization: Works licensed for films, commercials, and radio through Universal, EMI, and Warner Music.

    • Collaborations: Worked with renowned artists such as Natacha Atlas, Vanessa Mae, and Archie Shepp.

    • Commissions: Engaged by BMG Music Publishing and other major labels for original compositions and remixes.

    • Film Scoring: Composed music for acclaimed directors, including Sally El Hosseini and Mohammed El Daradgi.

    • Tour Support: Supported world music band Radio Tarifa on European tours.

    • Creative Leadership: Founded Passport for the World, a multidisciplinary music project.

    • Signature Composition: Developed the song Lullaby for the World.

Kad Achouri, born in Mazamet, France, balanced a promising tennis career with a passion for music, teaching himself piano before studying at the Toulouse Conservatory and later in Barcelona. Moving to London in 1993, he performed in bars while refining his craft, releasing his debut album Liberté (2002) to worldwide critical acclaim. Fusing Mediterranean and European influences, he toured with Radio Tarifa and played festivals like WOMAD.

Kad has collaborated with artists like Vanessa Mae and Archie Shepp, composing for films such as My Brother the Devil. His solo work, including Lettre à Marianne (2011), gained international recognition, leading to tours across Europe and Southeast Asia. He is currently developing a covers album and leading Passport for the World, a multidisciplinary project inspired by his song Lullaby for the World.

Tello Morgado

Musician/Percussionist

Tello Morgado is an Angolan percussionist based in London, carrying a rich musical heritage spanning four generations. His grandmother, grandfather, and great-grandfather were all percussionists, and his uncle, Joãozinho Morgado, is an internationally renowned master percussionist.

Since arriving in London in the early 1990s, Tello has carved out a unique path in the music scene. He pursued a Master's degree in Music at SOAS, University of London, and has performed extensively with numerous artists both in the UK and internationally.

In addition to his performances, Tello is highly experienced in leading percussion workshops across schools, community centers, and corporate settings.

Safaya Chiara Topolski-Achouri

Lead Vocalist

Safaya Chiara Topolski-Achouri is a versatile musician with a background in classical piano, songwriting, and production. As lead vocalist for Lullaby for the World, she showcased her dynamic performance skills. Beyond performing, she has experience in music administration, assisting at Batuke Royale with event planning and client management. Proficient in Logic X, Excel, and RPM databases, she brings strong technical and organizational expertise to creative projects. Passionate about music therapy, she deeply values music’s role in mental well-being.

U-cef

Musician/Percussionist

U-cef is a multi-talented drummer, percussionist, arranger, programmer, and producer, with the creativity and cultural insight to navigate diverse musical genres without prejudice or fear. Born and raised in Rabat, Morocco, he absorbed the rich traditions of his homeland before moving to New York and later London, where he immersed himself in the electronic and rock music scenes of the Western world.

His albums Halalium and Halalwood are poised to reach a broader audience of young musicians and listeners across North Africa and beyond. With extensive experience as a music workshop leader and school facilitator, U-cef is thrilled to be part of the LFTW team.
